As indicated in school policy, students taking a break from Basic Medical Sciences or Clinical Clerkships for more than three weeks require to file for and have a documented leave of absence approved by the school. We emphasize that once a student graduates, their diploma during ECFMG credential verification process requires university authorities to indicate the gaps during their education with reasoning. It is, therefore, crucial that leaves of absences be documented appropriately.
